The handle for this knife is made from Australian Acacia Burlwood, especially suited to this kind of application. It is hardwearing with a fairly straight grain and can be worked to achieve a desirable finish. The blade has a laser etching of Nicaragu with all the regions marked.

Designed as a Piedmont-style folding pocket knife and a cigar cutter, the company was started in 2014 in the town of Thiers in France.

The name translates to "the thin blade" from French and the company is proud to state that the blade, which is made from hardened stainless steel, is virtually impossible to dull.

Overall the cutter is stylish and sturdy, it's designed to be used with either hand and will take the cap off a cigar up to 70 ring gauge.

The knife is sold boxed with instructions on how to use it, there is also a hex key enclosed to enable either the blade to be changed or tightened to the user's personal preferences.

It can be legally carried in public as the blade length is shorter than the prescribed limit.
