A banker from Germany, Herman Upmann, moved to Havana in 1844 because of his love for Havana cigars. He also set up a bank that closed in the early 1920s.
Thankfully, the cigar brand he created didn't suffer the same fate, and today it is still loved by cigar smokers the world over. Â
Light and aromatic with a smooth and refined flavour profile, this chunky Bohemios, as it is known in the factory, measures 5 1/4" with a 51-ring gauge and offers a wonderful smoking experience. Medium-bodied, with nutty notes, along with some cedar and earthiness, there's also a touch of pepper.
